Prox Devices, Inc. ("Prox Devices") has published this privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") in order to demonstrate its commitment to its user, visitor, and customer privacy with regard to the Prox Devices® website located at ProxDevices.com (the "Website"). Privacy on the Website is of great importance to Prox Devices. Because important information is submitted by its users, visitors, and customers (collectively "you" or "your"), Prox Devices has established this Privacy Policy as a means to communicate its practices. By accessing the Website, you acknowledge and agree to this Privacy Policy and also agree to the Terms of Use.

In general, Prox Devices only retains information that has been submitted through the contact forms. However, Google and other browsers may have scripts which will collect data from the user. These scripts, as is, will install a cookie on the user's computer with a tracker object within. At a minimum, the browser collects the following: location, user ID, IP address, browser information, etc., based on the tracker object. In no way does Prox Devices have access to this information as Prox Devices makes a full commitment to never track you.

We do not share any customer information that's provided to us with anyone (e.g., third-party marketing firms) other than what is necessary to internally process an order or reply to an inquiry.

Prox Devices takes your privacy very seriously. As part of our Privacy Policy, we follow the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018 (CCPA), a new law that gives rights to California state residents, known as 'consumers'.
We do reserve the right to disclose your personal information when we have reason to believe that it is necessary to identify, contact, or bring legal action against persons or entities that may be causing injury to you, Prox Devices, Inc., or to others. We may also disclose personal information when we believe the law requires it.

Your California Privacy Rights

Prox Devices complies with California Civil Code Section 1798.83.

Under Civil Code Section 1798.83, residents of California ("CA Consumer") that have an established business relationship with Prox Devices and that have provided certain personal information to Prox Devices, have the right to request certain information from Prox Devices. CA Consumers may request that Prox Devices disclose (i) the types of personal information shared with third parties for those third parties' direct marketing purposes, if any, and (ii) the identity of any such third party with whom Prox Devices has shared personal information, if any, during the previous calendar year. CA Consumers may make one such request each year. To submit a request for information, please email Prox Devices at info[at]proxdevices[dot]com. Please include "Request for California Privacy Information" in the subject line and in the body of the email. Prox Devices will respond to the email with the requested information, if any.

Your California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Rights

The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) is a 2018 law that gives various rights to California state residents. CCPA gives California residents the right to request the disclosure of any or all personal information held on you for the previous twelve (12) months from the time of request, and the right to delete information and opt out of the sharing of information with third-party marketing firms.

Product and Store Reviews

At this time, product and store reviews are only received by third-party websites, such as Google or Amazon. Prox Devices does not have admin access to this information. When you leave a product or store review, the information that you provide about yourself, including any contact information, is collected by the third party. Customer comments are only reviewed (not edited) by Prox Devices. Reviews posted on these third-party websites and reviewed by Prox Devices, may be used in their entirety for public advertisement by Prox Devices.

When a product review is submitted, you grant Prox Devices full rights to use the content of that review, which includes giving Prox Devices unlimited, nonexclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, full-paid license and sublicensable rights to use and exploit in any unrestricted manner throughout the world, any and all parts of that review.

When you leave a product or store review, the review may be published on ProxDevices.com or shared on social media sites at Prox Devices' sole discretion. You grant Prox Devices and its affiliates and unlimited nonexclusive, perpetual, irrevocable royalty-free, fully-paid license and sublicensable right to use reproduce, modify, adapt, publish translate, create derivative works, from, distribute and display such content throughout the world in any media.

Privacy and Email Referrals

The above rules and code of conduct applies to emails that you may provide to Prox Devices in the course of using the Website. We will send the requested information to the specified third party, who then has the option of not receiving further communications from us. When using these utilities, you agree to only submit email addresses for those with whom you have an established personal or family relationship.
